Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol von N-Gage für die Kunstausstellung Into the Pixel ausgewählt

Das von Jadestone entwickelte Spiel Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol für N-Gage von Nokia wurde für die Into the Pixel-Sammlung 2009 ausgewählt. Dies ist das erste Mal, dass ein mobiles Spiel für die Teilnahme an dieser Videospiel Kunstgalerie ausgewählt wurde.

Die Into the Pixel Art Exhibition präsentiert sechzehn Videospiel-Kunstwerke – ausgewählt von einer Jury aus verschiedenen Einsendungen von Künstlern aus aller Welt. Die Ausstellung bietet Entwicklern von bereits veröffentlichten Video- und Computer-Spielen die Möglichkeit, in den Bereichen Kunst und Videospiele die Öffentlichkeit und gleichgesinnte Entwickler auf ihre Werke aufmerksam zu machen.

Die in diesem Jahr zum sechsten Mal stattfindende Into the Pixel® Ausstellung ist nach wie vor die anerkannteste Präsentation von Werken, bei der eine Jury die Arbeiten beurteilt. Sie verbindet die Sicht angesehener, führender Anbieter im Bereich interaktiver Unterhaltung und die Welt der Kunst, um direkt zur Entwicklung von Videospielen beizutragen.

Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol ist ein mobiles Detektiv-Abenteuer mit brillanten Cartoons und einer spannenden und witzigen Story. Die Parodie des Film Noir dreht sich um den Privatdetektiv Dirk Dagger, der den Spieler durch eine seltsame Zwickmühle und ein Set verschiedener Mini-Games führt. In dem witzigen und innovativen Spiel Dirk Dagger kann der Spieler die Umgebung der Szenen auf besonders intuitive Weise erfassen.

Die 2009 Into the Pixel Kunstsammlung wird im Rahmen der 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo vom 2. bis zum 4. Juni im Los Angeles Convention Center zu sehen sein. Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol erhielt darüber hinaus den Titel Best Gameplay der International Mobile Gaming Awards im Jahr 2007.
